Overview
One of the top ten largest cities in the
world, Delhi is located in northern India and is the country’s capital and well
as its main hub, both politically and culturally. Delhi is a highly
cosmopolitan urban center, with a wide array of ethnic groups coexisting here,
in addition to a large population of expatriates from across the globe. Due to
its long-standing role as the country’s capital, there are more than 1200 sites
of historical interest in and around Delhi, as well as three UNESCO World
Heritage Sites.
