The Kuwait Towers are among Kuwait City’s
most important landmarks. They were completed in 1979, and serve a number of
purposes – from water storage to controlling the area’s electricity. The
largest of the three reaches a height of 187 meters, is open to the public via
a high speed lift and contains a revolving observation platform and restaurant.
This revolving section makes a full turn every 30 minutes, and the 360 degree
view here is said to be the best in Kuwait.
