The Scientific Center is a discovery complex devoted to different aspects of Kuwaiti marine life. The center contains an aquarium – the largest in the gulf region – as well as an IMAX theatre and a harbor with historic dhow sailboats. The aquarium is home to 100 different species of marine animal and features a 1.5 million liter tank housing sharks and exotic fish from around the world.
