Known as the City of Golden Friendship, Cagayan de Oro is the capital of the Province of Misamis Oriental and serves as the regional center for the Northern Mindanao. Situated on Mindanao Island in the south of the Philippines, it is considered one of the country’s most picturesque cities with numerous natural resources, an eco-friendly attitude, a great deal of wildlife, caves, hills and waterfalls. There is also a thriving International sea port here close to the estuary of the Cagayan de Oro River.
