Overview
Cornwall is the peninsula at the most
southwesterly point of the United Kingdom. Surrounded on three sides by the
Celtic Sea and the English Channel, Cornwall enjoys a very mild climate.
Cornwall has miles and miles of beaches and cliffs, as well as moors, country
gardens, prehistoric and historic sites and wonderful wooded valleys. Newquay
and Porthdown have highly rated surfing beaches, while St Austell is home to
the Eden Project.
