France extends from the North Sea and
English Channel south to the Mediterranean Sea, and from the Rhine, west to the
Atlantic Ocean. It is one of the most visited countries in the world with more
than 82 million foreign tourists each year mostly for its cultural heritage and
world famous landmarks like the Eiffel Tower but also for the up market French
Riviera and other areas like the Loire valley with its Chateaux, as well as
numerous historic towns and cities.
