Scotland’s largest city, and the third most
populated urban center in Britain, Glasgow sits on the banks of the River Clyde
in the West Central Lowlands. For a long period Glasgow was one of Europe’s
largest and most important cities before a number of decades of neglect. Recent
years have witnessed a large amount of regeneration work, and Glasgow is once
again one of the most visited cities in the UK. It’s an important center for
culture, which means a large amount of museums, as well as buildings like the
Clyde Auditorium, can be found here.
