Being the second oldest town in Sweden with a history of over 1000 years, reaching Lund is possible by bus or train. If you want to get to Lund by flight, then you have to fly down to the airport in Malmo and then get onto a bus from there to Lund.

Trains, on the other hand, are extremely convenient modes of transport into the city with the train to Malmo taking only 15 minutes. Trains from Malmo and Stockholm stop at Lund before they go onto their final destinations, making it extremely convenient to travel to Lund. Additionally, there are international trains running from Copenhagen to Lund, where the journey takes about an hour to get completed. 

Alternatively, you could opt for buses as your mode of transport into Lund. Long distance buses going to or from Malmo usually stop at Lund, thus making it an excellent way to get into the city. However, it is important to note that buses going to Falsterbo and Trelleborg from Malmo do not stop at Lund, which is why it is best to avoid those.
